Locum Trust StR Higher in Neurology & Stroke

Each registrar will have a range of duties depending on their role e.g 'clinical' registrar on call with the neurology consultnt, second on call receiving GP calls and reviewing ward referrals, working with the stroke team etc. Each SpR attends an average of 3 clinics per week, although the number may vary on where they are in the overall rotation and what their role is. E.g. fewer clinics while on call and doing ward work, more when off the wards. When attending inpatients with the consultant of the week, clinics are cancelled, and when off the wards the clinic number may increase depending on which specialty they are gaining experience in.
