Logistic Planner

Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Transport Planner based in Bedford for a well-established, professional organisation.

Summary of theTransport Plannerrole

Salary: Up to GBP35,000 per annum dependent on experience
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: 40 hours working week, Monday - Friday

The role

As the Transport Planner, your role will involve the following important duties:

• Plan and coordinate transportation routes for efficient delivery of goods.
• Help build runs for the general drivers.
• Print and collate all driver s paperwork.
• Ensure drivers remain compliant.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
• Monitor and track drivers to ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and performance metrics.

The experience required

As a successful Transport Planner, you will have the following:

• Proven experience working in a transport operation with solid knowledge of the logistics industry.
• Sound knowledge of driver regulations.
• Ability to be flexible.
• Strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
• Calm under pressure and good at problem-solving.
• A positive and professional attitude to work.
• Full clean UK driving licence with own transport.
