Logistics Administrator - ongoing temp

Reed Crawley are working with a key client who are based in the heart of The Manor Royal who are seeking a temporary Logistics Administrator. 

This is an ongoing temporary assignment , 100% office based , free parking on site , Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm 

Duties to include 

Managing shipments for import and export including coordination UK customs & clearances 

Tracking deliveries and updating customers 

Processing purchase order numbers 

Organising deliveries 

Handling telephone calls from clients 

Obtaining updates from freight companies / airlines / shipping lines and keeping customers updated 

Updating Excel spreadsheets 

General Administration duties to support the team 

The ideal candidate will come from a freight / logistics / shipping background so they can hit the ground running.
