Main Responsibilities
- Providing operational logistics management support to existing and new clients by answering questions, resolving problems, and investigating any issues with conveyance and delivery providers.
- Communicating with customers to confirm deliveries, any network issues, expected delivery dates and any other information requested.
- Working closely with suppliers to ensure customer expectations are met in terms of quality, service, and timescale.
- Support implementation of new suppliers, networks, customer onboarding etc.
- Support in preparing reports and business cases.
- Undertake data analysis in key areas such as rate card analysis, operational performance, budget and revenue etc.
- Support the operational team as necessary to ensure any shipments and despatches are processed in a timely manner and train operational staff as required.
- Support in managing and liaison with suppliers.
- Proactively identify and implement improvements in procedures and working practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support in updating supplier communications such as service alerts, operating procedures, and customer onboarding processes.

- Ability to understand and interrogate data quickly and accurately.
- Ability to apply judgment in problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills both internally across distances and externally with customers and partners
- Self-motivated, working independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office products (training will also be given)
- A logical approach to problem solving is essential.

- Ability to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines.
- Project management skills are desirable.
