We’re looking for Logistics Co-ordinator/Planner based in Sutton. This role is 12-month fixed term contract.

What you’ll do:
  • Managing all hire co-ordination task for transport, ensuring customer requirements are fulfilled.
  • Record all transport movements.
  • Liaise with multiple internal departments including Drivers, Engineers, Fleet, Service planning, Fuel, Customs, Sales and Customer Centre teams.
  • Quality and timely communication with others to ensure they are kept informed of delivery / collection times.
  • Ensuring hand over information is provided to other team members.
  • Collaborating with drivers on best routes and transport plans to achieve efficiency and a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ordering emergency vehicles to deliver and collect hires as they happen.
  • Participating in frequent Teams calls for emergency hires, large projects etc.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
  • You will have strong experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and ever changing environment.
  • Able to develop and manage stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively across wider teams.
  • Knowledge of logistics would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Experience using a CRM system.
