Adecco are delighted to be supporting our client based on the outskirts of Newbury who are recruiting a Logistics Coordinator. The role is working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week and offering a salary of £26,000 - £30,000, plus company benefits including free onsite parking, private medical healthcare and pension scheme.
Own mode of transport is essential due to the location.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in purchasing/logistics or customer service. Knowledge of SAP Business One (or similar system) is beneficial.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Processing Sales Orders
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Processing sample requests
- Liaising with suppliers/customers regarding orders, schedules, deliveries, disputes etc.
- Assisting Sales/Estimating teams with up-to-date price lists, order statuses etc.
- Booking collections from overseas
- Scheduling deliveries to UK sites
- Preparing dispatch notes
- Updating/managing collections-deliveries log
- Obtaining proof of deliveries
