What you’ll be doing:
· To undertake professional driving responsibilities and provide accountability along with a quality service to all internal and external customers, ensuring that items are collected and delivered in a safe, efficient and effective manner as and when required
· Professional driving of fleet vehicles in order to collect and deliver inventory as required (including heavy transporters / minibus where skilled and required to do so), in a safe manner and complying with company operating procedures at all time
· Ensure items are collected from or delivered to the correct locations in a safe and secure manner with relevant paperwork
· Ensure that vehicle and equipment defects are recorded and reported promptly
· Safe transit of goods around site
· Accountability for inventory accuracy as appropriate
· Delivery of transport Service Level Agreements
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
· Fully licensed HGV C1 Driver
· PSV Qualified where appropriate
· Drivers CPC Qualified – Up to date
· Experience of driving a Forklift Truck
Desirable:
· PDA Gun use desirable (training will be given)
· IT Skills

The Logistics Operations team:
In the Transport department we utilize all type of vehicles to support the submarine programs. We move anything from a small box to a submarine section. We also have our own in-house postman who covers the internal & external post.
