About the Logistics Operative Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Logistics Operative on a permanent basis.
The role of Logistics Operative is a varied and interesting role in which you will be responsible for visiting our Stations across the North Wales area to deal with the day-to-day maintenance and cleaning duties arising.
The role of Logistics Operative encompasses the following duties:
- Building Maintenance
- Health and Safety Checks
- Responding to calls/jobs and emergencies from our Facilities Helpdesk and Supervisors
- Delivering Internal Mail and Case Files
- Assisting Officers to remove Cannabis Factories
- Travelling out of the North Wales Police area to collect items when required.
- Assisting other divisions when required
The successful applicant will have a building background/knowledge and/or handyperson skills, a full clean driving licence, is proactive, takes charge of situations and is willing to work on their own and on their own initiative unless assisting others.
You will be able to engage with people at all levels and demonstrate flexibility, motivation and commitment, a proven ability to set high standards and a hands-on working style encouraging our real one team ethos to achieve goals and targets.
