This role, joining a B2B packaging supplier to e-commerce and warehousing businesses across the UK, is taking responsibility for the transport function within the business
The role of Logistics Team Leader includes:-
- Leading and managing the Driving team, and all outbound transportation
- Daily assessment of the order pipeline to optimise transport and logistics, and liaising with the sales team as necessary
- Planning and routing 8 delivery vehicles, as well as sourcing transport if necessary
- Weekly compliance checks on licences, CPC, tachographs etc
- Managing and overseeing H&S, holidays accident reporting, etc
To be considered for the role of Logistics Team Leader, you should:-
- Have excellent numeracy and literacy
- Have previous experience within a supervisory position within logistics
- Be hands on, with a clean driving licence, a counter balance FLT licence, and CPC
Hours are 08.30-17.30 Monday-Friday
