Logistics Team Leader

Are you an experienced Team Leader working within Logistics and looking for a new opportunity? Do you want to work for a growing company who offer flexibility? If so, we are looking for an experienced Team Leader who is passionate about delivery great customer service.

As Logistics Team Leader you will be expected to have a hands-on approach. You will take on the leadership for your local Logistics Team and coordinate with the operations, and customer service teams to meet the demands of a very busy logistics department. You will be responsible for managing team performance through appraisals, coaching and development plans and be the teams first point of contact. You will participate in external/internal audits related to logistics as required by the Trescal Quality Manager and ensure that mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented at all times. You will also be responsible for the stores control, logistics planning, deliveries and collections for all sites that Yateley operates with.

• Previous experience working in a customer-focused environment
• Clean driving licence
• Strong Team Leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team in a challenging environment
• Ability to move product which may require bending, stretching, stooping, stepping, reaching, and/or lifting, in line with Health & Safety regulations
• ·Good analytical and numerical skills
• Highly organised person with great attention to detail
• Able to work in stores environment where manual handling is required
