As a Logistics Team Manager you'll be responsible for leading and developing one of our Logistics Operational teams.  Ensuring we are operating in the safest environment, you’ll engage, support and develop your team members to ensure our finished goods/raw materials are picked accurately, dispatched with maximum efficiency, and presented to the highest standard for our customers.

As well as making sure things are running smoothly on a daily basis, you'll work together with your team and other functions to continually improve the quality, efficiency, distribution and labour costs.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Understanding and applying the highest Health & Safety standards within your area of responsibility and driving a safety-first culture within your team
  • Engaging and developing the team through demonstrating our Values and being a role model
  • Leading the team to ensure on time in full delivery of our products
  • Developing the team to achieve all KPIs and targets including safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Working collaboratively both across Supply Chain and with other functions to ensure that work plans are agreed, prioritised and delivered
  • Confidently using technology such as Microsoft packages and use of hand-held devices and other relevant software systems to deliver your job role
  • Delivering department and business communications and reporting to the highest standards with ability to analyse and interpret the detail of results within your team
  • Leading continuous improvement activities providing measures of success through application of CI principles

Shift rotation 12hrs,  0800-20:00 on days - 20:00-08:00 on nights
