LOLER Inspector

My client is an industry leading; family ran company. Due to a successful period, they are now looking for a LOLER / PUWER Inspector to join their team to perform inspections on client’s machinery. As an Inspector you will be attending sites directly across the London and surrounding area, with a small amount of work within the workshop. This is an exciting role for an engineer that is experienced within the industry and looking to step into an Inspector role whilst maintaining skills on the tools when required.

LOLER / PUWER Inspector

Site Location – Ashford

Covering London and South

£40,000 - £45,000 basic salary, 25 days plus Bank Holidays, phone, van, fuel card and pension.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Carry out LOLER & PUWER inspections.
• Work closely with senior management to ensure inspections are completed within regulations.
• Ensuring your van is stocked correctly.
• Ensure defects are raised and machinery quarantined until addressed.
• Completing the correct documentation accurately and in time.
• Completion of small repairs.
• Always representing the company in a professional manner.
• Working under pressure to a high standard.
• Being accurate and precise.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

• Experience in servicing, fault finding and repairing heavy plant machinery is beneficial.
• Good mechanical / hydraulic knowledge.
• Customer focused with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations.
• Provide good levels of customer service.
• Experience of working within a Plant Engineering environment.
• LOLER & PUWER knowledge is advantageous but not a requirement as training will be provided.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Good HSE knowledge.
• In date CSCS Cards.
• Full UK driving licence.
