Low Carbon Community Buildings Officer

3 days per week (22.2 hours), £16,200 per annum (£27,000 full time equivalent), 12-month contract

Would you like to help community organisations in Hyndburn, Lancashire to reduce their carbonfootprint and become more energy efficient? We’re looking for someone with experience in Low Carbonand energy efficient building measures. You will co-ordinate energy audits of Community Buildingsand help organisations to apply for funding. You will also deliver carbon literacy and energyefficiency training and awareness sessions to local groups.

This is a fantastic opportunity to helplocal community organisations to become more financially stable and make their buildings warmer,whilst helping them to reduce their impact on the climate. The successful candidate will receivetraining in valuable skills for the Low Carbon sector, including AECB (Association for EnvironmentConscious Building) CarbonLite Retrofit training, as well as Carbon Literacy training.
