My client is providing the exciting opportunity for a Low Carbon Energy Assessor to deliver building physics services in their offices in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be provided with the opportunity to work on a range of projects across all sectors.
Role responsibilities include:
- Produce planning stage energy and sustainability reports
- Deliver reports in support of credit obligations that are associated with BREEAM and Passivhaus
- work alongside the design team to produce low energy design solutions
- Carrying out design and technical submission reviews that are in compliance with Part L
- Carrying out building surveys for energy appraisals and EPCs
Role requirements include:
- Degree within an engineering, sustainability, or any other related field
- CIBSE LCEA accreditation
- An understanding and experience with calculations such as daylight assessments, thermal comfort studies and heat loss and gains.
- Good experience with software's such as IES-VE and provide Part L compliance calculations
- Good knowledge of energy and carbon management, and environmental legislations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Full UK driving license
