  • We spend time every day on tasks that bring us satisfaction and purpose with the intent to Enjoy Life.

What we do?

At Zero Point Cryogenics we are growing quickly and commercializing our core product, dilution refrigerators, which are the primary low-temperature platform for quantum computers and quantum technology research. We design, fabricate, assemble, test, and install state-of-the-art dilution refrigerators for our customers in quantum computing companies as well as university and government labs that use these tools to advance critical scientific research. Born from a low-temperature physics research group, with a focus on low-temperature excellence, at ZPC, innovation is in our roots.  We are continuously improving our current systems and developing new systems to meet the varying needs of our customers.

Who we are looking for?

*If you do not meet some or all of the below qualifications, and believe you would still be a strong candidate, please apply.

We are looking for a highly technical hands-on problem solver to work with our Research and Development team as a Low Temperature Physicist and subject matter expert on dilution refrigerator technology. Our ideal candidate will be accustomed to working with dilution refrigerators and other cryostats while being familiar with fabrication and assembly settings. They will be able to prioritize multiple concurrent projects and be passionate about doing so in a clean and organized manner.  This role is integral to our success as we commercialize our core product. What you will do?

You will help Zero Point continue in our pursuit of innovation in solving some of the world's most complex problems in cryogenics and quantum computing. We expect you to ask questions, learn, be open to growth, and attend technical training as required. You will:

  • Work closely with our Research & Development team to develop and advance the state of the art in dilution refrigerators, ancillary products and other cryostats.
  • Work closely with our Research & Development team to develop processes for repeatability of assembly and manufacture of critical components.
  • Help resolve production and manufacturability challenges.
  • Work to improve and advance cooling power and base temperature as we adopt new and larger fridge designs.
  • Aid in the integration of superconducting magnets and any other ongoing R&D projects that will be undertaken.
  • Help with customer-facing interactions both in person and over video call.
  • Read manufacturer’s manuals, drawings, and quality control specifications for assembly procedures.
