Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / 1:1 - Complex Needs

Location: Chelmsford

Salary: GBP80 - GBP100 per day

Start Date: September 2024

Contract Type: Full Time

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? Do you have a heart for supporting students with Complex Needs? We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our vibrant secondary school community in Chelmsford.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with a range of Complex Needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum effectively.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
• Foster a nurturing and safe learning environment.
• Assist with the development of social skills and independence in students.
• Monitor and report on the progress of students.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young adults with Complex Needs.
• A compassionate approach and the ability to be patient and encouraging.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• A relevant qualification in education or special needs support is desirable.
