Droxford Junior School is a successful, friendly, village school set in the Meon Valley. The children here are wonderful and the staff are experienced, creative and proactive.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, resourceful LSA Level 2 (Grade C) who will join the team and make a real impact in the classroom setting. The role requirement is Mon – Fr (9-3) with the option to undertake an LSA 3 / HLTA role on Thursdays covering teacher’s PPA across the school. All planning in place which makes that role easier. The position is to start September 2024.
The successful candidate will…
- have GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Mathematics
- have experience of working with children in the Primary phase
- Be happy to lead pre-planned, short, whole-class sessions
- able to motivate and engage all children
- be able to use their initiative and be resourceful
- be a strong team member
- have patience and strong communication skills
- has a good understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
