M&A Modelling & Analysis - Travel & Aviation

Our client is a key player in technology in the Travel and Aviations industry. They are looking to hire on a 6-12 month contract an experienced M&A to be located in either London, Spain or Czech Republic, although this could be a remote position. They need someone proficient in financial modelling and valuation who has good analytical and numeracy skills who will support the CFO team. The ideal candidate will have experience in either/or the TMT sector, M&A transactional activity or be operating in a Private Equity environment. 

Key Responsibilities will be to:

• Review financial statements, providing insights and recommendations.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with DD providers during the process, ensuring alignment across the board.
• Run valuation models, adapting modelling to best reflect transactions.
• Assess debt capacity and covenant impact on the wider group.
• Create presentation for internal and external audience.
• Conduct some business development.

The Expectation is that the Successful Candidate will:

• Challenge assumptions to ensure robustness of business case.
• Build and adapt financial models, highlighting key risks/sensitivities and returns.
• Assess cashflow and covenant impact on the wider group.
• Understand financing
• Ownership of M&A Models , showing covenants and key metrics.
• Validate inputs for covenant certificates.
• Engage in refinancing process, when required.
• Liaise with CFO and shareholders to review and validate outputs.
