Machine Driver

Cogent Staffing are recruiting for Machine Operators for our client based in Widnes. This role is perfect if you are a Mobile Plant Operator looking to take your career further within a business that is able to offer excellent job security within a thriving industry.

Shift/salary requirements:

Day or night vacancies available:

Days:

• Monday to Friday day shift
• 06:00-16:15 (possibly some 08:00-18:15 shifts available)
• Flexibility on hours required, earlier starts and later finishes
• Weekly pay
• £13.50 per hour
• Overtime: 125% on weekday overtime, 150% on Saturday overtime, 200% on Sunday overtime
• Overtime paid over 48 hours per week only
• Overtime available and required
• Temporary to permanent opportunities

The role:

• Safely and efficiently operating 360 Material Handler (wheels only) and/or Loading Shovel
• Loading and unloading waste to site and moving where required
• Ensuring the plant is running smoothly
• Comply at all times to company standards and HSE guidelines
• Undertaking any further training required and provided by the company

The candidate:

• Has a flexible approach to work hours and can commit to Saturday mornings on a rota
• Can happily work outdoors and is not put off by working with waste materials
• Has a strong HSE awareness
• Holds valid licenses required
• Basic maintenance experience would be an advantage

Valid licenses required:

• 360 Materials Handler (wheels)
