Machine Learning Engineer

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning/ML Engineer to deploy at one of our financial services clients. This is a priority project for the them as they look to build and implement new forecasting and statistical models in a new business domain to help them engage with the market more effectively, gain larger market share, and have a more profitable and targeted product range.

They are also looking at creating cost optimisation tools that will be implemented across the org' that this individual will play an influential role in.

This role will be more focused on progressing/tools into production so that they can be consumed by other applications in future, to enable the business to be self-servant in accessing and publishing data. 

The key skills and technologies being used are AWS Sagemaker, Docker and use of APIs.

It will be predominantly remote, but ideally could come into the office 1 day a week on site at their Edinburgh office, for an initial 6 months, inside IR35 starting within 4 weeks.
