Machine Operative (Saw Operator)

Saw Operator required!

Our client in Bristol (BS11) is currently looking for a fulltime Saw Operator to join their night shift. As a Saw Operator, you will be required to work in a factory environment as part of a team.

Duties

• Check that correct material has been picked by warehouse team and meets tight quality standards before cutting

• Working with drawings to ensure material is cut to customer specifications

• Using measuring equipment such as tape, micrometer, and caliper instruments

• Program saw for cutting operation.

• Checks to first off cut piece and random checks throughout the day

• Performs daily maintenance checks to metal saw

• Weighs all cut pieces and rems

• Ensures all cut material packaged correctly before been dispatched to customer

• Operates fork trucks and jib cranes when required

• Performs daily safety checks to fork trucks and jib cranes, and vac-lifts

• Maintain Quality standards throughout the operational process and assists and develops process improvements to drive AMS forward

• Manual lifting up to 20kg

Shift Pattern

10:00pm-6:00am (Sun-Thurs)

Salary

£24,901 per year + £25.00 daily shift allowance
