Purpose
As a Machine Operator for this vital manufacturer, you’ll assist with the manufacture of exclusive and bespoke products support surging demand to frontline health services. Joining a large team of experienced Machine Operators, you’ll become a part of an integral team in ensuring the business meets production demands.

Continued profitable growth has led to this Machine Operator vacancy which will see the successful candidate directly supporting critical healthcare services. As demand increases - particularly with the current economic crisis - you’ll assist in providing key products to people in need. They have various shift patterns on offer (days or evenings) and other benefits for this role include:

Responsibilities
As a Machine Operator your responsibilities will include:
- Working on the production line assisting with the manufacture of furniture
- Manual handling and heavy lifting to load / unload materials onto the machines
- Basic quality checks and raising any issues
- Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of the workshop
- Support others within the team as reasonably required
Background
The successful Machine Operator will:
- Ideally have had exposure to a manufacturing environment although this is not essential
- Be happy with repetitive work
- Enjoy working as part of a team but also be able to work alone when needed
- Have their own transport or live locally as relocations will not be considered
