We re hiring for Machine Operators to join an industry leading manufacturer based in Buxton, High Peak. With several sites across the globe and a consolidated turnover of more than GBP2 billion, you ll be joining a fast-growing, thriving company with big ambitions.
With more than 9,000 employees, company growth is non-negotiable, and they are looking to add a number of Machine Operators to their expanding team. With GBP15 million recently invested in new machinery and plans for expansion, your role will involve the safe running of modern core cutting machinery.

GBP25,986 - GBP33,886 per annum Various shift patterns (40.25 hours per week) Progression and training provided (pay increases with training) Death in service benefit Company pension scheme Workwear/PPE provided and laundered weekly
What will you be doing as a Machine Operator?
You will be responsible for running the core cutting machine to produce products in an efficient and safe way Monitoring machine performance and reporting any maintenance concerns or repairs Completing production paperwork accurately and on time and ensuring data is logged correctly on EFI system Ensuring the process manager/team leader is kept informed of any production issues that may affect quality, safety, or performance Ensuring health, safety & environment policies are adhered to as well as following company specifications and S.O.P. s
What do you need?
Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing / production environment The ability to work as part of a team and operate machinery to allocated schedules without direction A high level of attention to detail, personal accountability, and a right first time approach The capacity to work to demanding deadlines Keen to learn with a flexible attitude GCSE in Maths & English to at least Grade C, or equivalent preferred
