Salary- £26,461.50 per annum
- Working hours – 37.5 hours per week
- Monday – Friday 6am-2pm week 1
- Monday – Wednesday 2pm-12pm, Thursdays 2pm-11.30pm week 2 – Fridays off!
- Salary breakdown is £12.77 per hour basic plus £15 per day shift premium for afternoon shift

About the role
- Program saw for cutting operation.
- Operating metal saw and tyro to cut material to customer requirements
- Checks length, width, thickness, spec, alloy, grain direction, lot number before cutting
- Verifies parts are within customer required tolerances after cutting, using tape, micrometer, and caliper instruments
- Marks each part with hard stamp, grain flow, USD, lot number
- Ensures all cut material is on a fit for purpose pallet or skids for safe packaging
- Performs daily maintenance checks to metal saw
- Operates fork trucks and jib cranes when required
- Ensure productivity sheets are completed each day
- Performs daily housekeeping including the surrounding work area and metal saw.
The right candidate
- Experience operating machinery and metal processing
- Knowledge of a production facility and manufacturing processes
- Comfortable with manual lifting up to 20kgs
- Able to communicate with individuals at all levels
- Basic mathematical skills
