The Manufacturing Team

We have redefined the eBike kit product category with excellent design and innovative technology, with our Manufacturing Team being key to producing our kits and delivering products to our customers.

To achieve the best possible manufacturing process, we are assembling a world-class manufacturing team consisting of Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Operations experts.

The role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Production & Fulfilment Centre Team in Colton, UK. 

We are looking for a skilled Production and Technical Operative to be trained to operate machinery, process customer returns and pack products on our Wheel Building line.  

Responsibilities include:

Production 

  • Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines 
  • Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools 
  • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products 
  • Monitoring equipment 
  • Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organised 
  • Packing outgoing stock, taking inventory and reporting shortages 
  • Keeping records of incoming and outgoing shipments 

Technical 

  • Manage and coordinate technical support, returns processing & servicing  
  • Ensure all returns are booked in and accounted for within the correct time frame 
  • Resolve customer issues related to product quality, delivery, or warranty claims 
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on service and dispatch activities 
  • Follow and develop test specifications to maintain a high standards of quality control across production and customer returns 

+ other duties as requested by Management & Senior Team members 

Requirements

  • 1+ years' work experience in a similar production role 
  • Understanding of production procedures 
  • Proficient with using tools required within the production and servicing facility 
  • Experience in technical support, proven troubleshooting and a problem-solving mindset 
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and customer service platforms 
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear) 

Advantageous:

  • Proven experience as a Machine Operator
  • Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools
  • Experience working as a cycle mechanic in either a servicing or manufacturing role

  • Strong communication skills.
  • You have great attention to detail.
  • A professional working attitude.
  • Physical coordination and dexterity, able to carry up to 12kg 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
