Due to continued growth and success, my client is on the lookout for multiple Machine Setters to join their team. My client is one of the market leaders within packaging and have multiple sites in the UK.
If you have experience setting machines from any other industry, such as food production, beverage, pharmaceutical, plastic etc, I’d love to hear from you!
You will work on the continental shift pattern and some flexibility is required as overtime is often available.
The Role
- Setting up the machine to the correct standards
- Maintaining the efficient running of production
- Carrying out maintenance tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe working area
The Person
- A successful proven record and experience of setting machinery in a production/manufacturing background
- Has a proactive approach to work – always willing to learn
- Good attention to detail
- Good time keeping and attendance
- Flexible regarding overtime to cover sickness and holidays.
Salary
The starting salary for this role is £28,000 and rises slightly after probation.
