Machine Setter Opportunity!
  
This role will also incorporate full training and development in regards to maintenance work too. This role is based in Sedgefield.

DAYS ONLY, Monday – Friday with an 11am finish on a Friday.

THE BUSINESS
Our client has almost 300 years manufacturing experience. They now provide medical devices to a global healthcare customer base, from start-up companies though to global corporations.
  
  
THE ROLE

• Working to set production line-based machinery within a pharmaceutical environment
• Machine setting, changing tools/parts within machines to set up new production runs
• Delivering 1st off inspections and ensuring quality
• Delivering machine start up checks ensuring machinery has relevant oil levels, lubricants and production tolerances
• Working to deliver first line maintenance support to machinery, such as checking conveyor alignments, identifying machine faults, loose sensors/connections, etc
• Completing basic mechanical and electrical tasks
• Documenting machine faults and recording issues within the company management system

  
  
         THE PERSON + ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Experienced Machine Setter from a fast paced, high volume environment such as pharmaceutical, automotive, plastic or food related industries
• Holding a mechanical competency and basic electrical knowledge
• Able to effectively deliver machine changeovers
• Able to diagnose and rectify common machine faults
• Competent to escalate major break down issues to the engineering team and work to help coordinate outside contractors to pin point specific repairs
• Able to work at pace and maintain accuracy
