Form of workWe’re hunting for a Machine Setter to join the production scene at our Crewe-based client. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right person.
You’ll be diving into action from Monday to Thursday, powering through 06:45 – 17:15, plus two Fridays each month. Get ready for some overtime too!
Here’s what you’ll own:
- Keep our clients;’ production line in top gear, slashing downtime and tackling issues head-on.
- Master the art of equipment cleaning, whether it’s automated or good old-fashioned elbow grease.
- Stay sharp with daily check sheets and zap any faults straight to the Maintenance Team.
- Safety first! Maintain a spick-and-span workspace and follow our Health & Safety playbook.
- Be flexible to take on other duties.
What you’ll bring:
- Past experience in the production or manufacturing world? Check!
- Know your way around machinery like a pro.
- Ace at managing production lines, nailing quality control, and rocking Health and Safety.
This role would suit someone who has worked as a machine operator, in manufacturing, cnc or machine operative before.
Bonus points if you’ve got:
- Formal training in machine operation or a related field.
- A knack for fixing those little mechanical hiccups.
- Skills in setting up and fine-tuning machinery.
