Machine Tool Service Engineer.
Would suit a time served Machine Tool fitter/maintenance engineer who is looking to expand their knowledge and skills.
The position would involve in-house working and offsite working (as required) on a wide range of manual and CNC machinery.
Knowledge of:
Mechanical/electrical drawings.
Hydraulics.
Pneumatics.
CNC controls systems (Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain-operation/plc)
Commissioning/training of machines in-house and offsite.
Calibration of machine Tools.
Operation of various toolroom machinery.
The ability to work alone or part of a team is essential, reporting back to a Service Manager.
Computer literate.
Duties to include,
In-house working on machines in workshop as required.
Fault finding, repair and service work both in mechanical and electrical disciplines on a wide range of manual and CNC machines in the UK and overseas markets (as required).
Installation and/or training to be given on machines at customers premises.
Preventative maintenance servicing.
A full clean driving licence required.
Overalls/ PPE provided.
Salary negotiable.
