Machining Production Operative – 40 Hour 4 day Week
An opportunity has become available for a Machining Production Operative to join our team at Prefix Systems, a leading conservatory roof system manufacturer.

The preferred candidate will have prior experience working in a manufacturing environment. The role itself involves fast paced manual work, providing support across a variety of tasks to be completed on the shop floor. Your role involves: The operation of various machines, including CNC across different departments, fabrication/assembly of timber and aluminium components and supporting functions in other areas as required.
It is essential that you have an enthusiasm for physical, manual handling activity.

We are in the process of moving to a four day compressed 40 hour week Monday to Thursday 6.00 am to 4.30 pm, providing a 30 minute unpaid lunch break and two 15 minute paid breaks during the day. From time to time you will be required to be flexible with your working hours to accommodate production and delivery demands. Overtime is paid at time and a half.
