Our Client is seeking a conscientious and enthusiastic Carpenter / Multi Trade Operative with a can-do attitude and flexible approach to join our team. The role involves carrying out fabric maintenance and repairs across various contracts in Hampshire, ensuring high client satisfaction and maintaining a controlled and safe working environment.
Day to Day of the Role:- Diagnose and rectify faults within core and other trades related repair requests.
- Ensure the quality of work meets the highest possible standards at all times.
- Support all trades to deliver a professional and safe maintenance and repairs service.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations and resolve them efficiently.
- Keep customers informed about progress and plans.
- Undertake work efficiently and cost-effectively, reporting any difficulties encountered.
- Apply Health & Safety rules, using risk assessments, method statements, and PPE when needed.
- Maintain tools, plant, and equipment in a safe, clean, and workable condition.
- Maintain accurate records of works undertaken with photographic evidence as necessary.
- Be willing to work out of hours if required and assist other contracts as directed.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience in Carpentry.
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to diagnose the right repair and adopt a right first-time approach.
- Team player with a practical approach to health and safety.
- Problem-solving skills and self-management abilities.
- Full current driving licence.
- A DBS check is required before commencement of role.
