Job description

Are you a skilled Data Analyst with a passion for compliance and maintenance? How about an exciting role working in support of our Army customers? You’ll get to support key projects that matter. Join a great team at Aspire Defence Services…

As a Maintenance Compliance Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the operation and management of the Maintenance System (IFS) for six sites, as well as other systems related to electrical, water, and contractor compliance. You will also implement and control changes to the planned preventative maintenance regimes, ensuring the business remains statutory compliant and follows engineering good practice. You will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to communicate and execute changes effectively, as well as contribute to continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience with a maintenance management system, preferably IFS, and a solid background in working on mechanical and electrical building services. You will also have a good understanding of sustainable technologies and how they can be applied to improve the efficiency and performance of the assets. You will be able to demonstrate your experience in a similar role, where you have managed and controlled changes to planned preventative maintenance regimes and other compliance systems. You will have a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility for ensuring the business remains statutory compliant and follows engineering good practice.

You will also have excellent skills in using Microsoft Office packages, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. You will be able to communicate clearly and effectively with internal teams and stakeholders, as well as external contractors and suppliers. You will be able to prioritise your workload and work under pressure, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality. You will also have strong problem solving and fault diagnosis skills and be able to apply them to complex and challenging situations. You will have strong planning and organisational skills and be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

But first, meet the team…

With a 35-year contract, making soldiers’ lives better is at the heart of everything we do at Aspire Defence Services.

Seriously, picture a heart (the real one) and imagine how hard it works to keep the body running, making sure every part gets exactly what it needs to thrive. That’s our mission; to deliver a modern, fully serviced, flexible working environment for soldiers.

And just as the heart needs certain parts to keep the body alive, we need the dedication and commitment of our people to support our customers. We deliver a broad range of services for one-third of the British Army living and working on our patch, and we're proud of the work we do.

We’re all about nurturing great teams, and our award-winning safety and wellbeing initiatives are built on keeping an eye out for one another and having a good work-life balance.

In addition to being part of our team, you’ll also get…

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, as well as the option to buy holiday
  • Contributory Company Pension Plan matched up to 6%, plus individual life assurance
  • A shopping discounts scheme
  • Birthday Day Off Scheme
  • Cycle to Work and Tech Scheme
  • Discounted gym membership at Aldershot and Tidworth Leisure Centre
  • Employee assistance and health and wellbeing check-ins
  • Reward and recognition to celebrate outstanding achievements
  • Free on-site parking
