SalaryOur client is a well-established mineral and aggregates contractor who are looking for a Maintenance Coordinator in the Southwest of England due to the growth of the business. This is an office-based role.
Maintenance Coordinator Position Overview
- Handle all administrative tasks for maintenance jobs.
- Keep engineers and the maintenance team updated on job progress.
- Assist the Head of Field Service in dispatching engineers for breakdowns.
- Obtain quotes for parts and track order status.
- Create and process purchase orders.
- Manage and schedule call-outs from external service providers.
- Maintain service reports, regulatory checks, and asset documents.
- Enter Asset Condition Report data and update defect logs in the system.
- Manage administrative tasks, reporting, and stock control for wear components like tyres, buckets, and undercarriage.
Maintenance Coordinator Position Requirements
- Must have experience in data entry and administrative tasks.
- Experience working with engineers on service or repair jobs is needed; construction or quarrying experience is a plus.
- Looking for an organized and efficient individual.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office are required.
- Experience with asset database systems, especially Syrinx, is a plus.
- Knowledge of mobile plant and components is helpful but not required.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to build and maintain good working relationships.
Maintenance Coordinator Position Remuneration
- Salary: £28,000- £34,000
- Working Hours: 8:30 - 17:00; Monday to Friday
- Holidays Package: 23 days + 8BH
- Death in Service (2 x Salary)
