Our client are a leading food producer who require a Maintenance Coordinator/ Administrator to join their team on a fixed term contract for 18 months.
The successful person will provide key administrative support to the engineering department and support with planning and organising engineering tasks on a daily and weekly basis.
Suitable candidates will need administrative experience and be proficient with IT systems, experience in a similar role would be beneficial, but not essential.
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm
The Role
- Administrative support to the maintenance engineering department
- Planning and scheduling work requests to the engineering team
- Use computerised maintenance system to coordinate maintenance tasks, updating information and data
- Source parts and materials needed
- Work closely with operations team to understand work requests and daily/ weekly requirements, ensuring resource is organised in advance
- Record and organise key information, data and KPI's for the Engineering Manager
- General administrative support to the Engineering Manager
What we are looking for
- Administrative experience with excellent IT skills
- Highly organised with strong planning skills
- Excellent communicator and can respond quickly to priorities
- Ideally some experience in a maintenance, equipment or engineering setting
