Gi Pro are proud to be working in partnership with a National Manufacturer in the key supply chain to the building sector. The company are looking for an electrical bias Maintenance Engineer to work in their talented engineering team.
Job Role:
As a Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring that the facilities and machinery used to produce new and existing materials and goods run to their maximum efficiency and output.
This includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of a wide range of equipment/machinery including mechanical, electrical, and fully automated equipment including hydraulics, gas catalytic ovens, conveyors, pneumatic, presses, 5 axis cnc machining centres.
Typical Duties will involve:
Working safely and following risk assessment and method statement.Ensuring all machine guarding and safety systems are always in place.Carry out weekly checks and inspections.All maintenance reporting to be logged and spare parts issued.Organise factory maintenance workshops.Being flexible to working hours and available for weekend work where required.To deputise for maintenance manager as and when required toDesirable experience
City and guilds electrical installation, regulations and principles or similarCity and guilds mechanical or similarCity and guilds electrical testingCity and guilds engineeringHydraulic, pneumatic experience essentialSiemens PLC fault diagnosisCNC machinery knowledge advantageousAbility to read several different electrical wiring diagrams.Automated production line experience also advantageous
