SalaryProtea Recruitment Ltd is working with a Food Manufacturer based near Fraserburgh, Scotland. Our client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer, with manufacturing experience, Food Manufacturing is preferred.
Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Fraserburgh
Product: Chilled
Salary: Up to £42k DOE
Shifts: Monday to Friday, Early, days and Backs Rotating, 1 in 3 weekends required
Job Purpose
To maintain all manufacturing plants, equipment and facilities in good working order. Installing, maintaining and repairing systems as required hence improving equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities

- Carry out repairs to all plant and equipment in a safe, timely and professional manner.
- Assemble, install, reposition and test machinery and equipment as required
- Carry out planned preventative inspection & maintenance.
- Plan/prioritise workload to support production and ensure efficient use of working time.
- Assist in the development of planned preventative maintenance schedules
- Respond to maintenance requests for equipment faults, diagnose fault repairs and return equipment to operational service. All work to be carried out operating safely and efficiently.
