The Maintenance Engineer will provide Electrical Engineering function on a rotating shift pattern to maintain, repair and develop manufacturing equipment.

Description
The Maintenance Engineer will work Mon-Fri (mix of days and nights) and be responsible for:
· Provide Electrical Engineering diagnosis in collaboration with the Mechanical Engineer to quickly and
accurately determine faults on production machinery
· Perform preventative maintenance programme on specified equipment
· Work on developing machinery and production based equipment to improve efficiency and output of
agreed equipment
· Accurately interpret and follow all work instructions/job specifications
· Train subordinates and additional back ups when required
· Maintain engineering supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipating
needed supplies.
· Complete any paperwork / documentation as required
· Maintain at all times a safe and clean work environment/general housekeeping
· Adhere to all Company Health and Safety policies and procedures
Profile
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be/have:
· Apprentice trained
· Relevant mechanical engineering experience and expertise, gained within a fast paced environment.
· Experience of diagnosing and determining faults on production machinery.
· Experience of managing engineers supplies inventories.
· Full understanding of up to date Health & Safety legislation relating to the position of Electrical Engineer.
· Must be able to work well in a team, as well as independently using own initiative.
· Strong problem solving skills with an analytical approach.
· Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
