With a commanding position in their market, they are embarking on an exciting journey to welcome two talented Maintenance Engineers into their well-established team. This role presents a diverse range of responsibilities, specialized machinery, and substantial investments in both your professional growth and the facility itself.
Maintenance engineer duties:
You'll be responsible for the daily upkeep of an impressive array of machinery. This facility boasts an extensive range of equipment for you to dive into headfirst. Our client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer with a knack for swift responses to breakdowns and a strong focus on preventive maintenance. In this role, your tasks will include:
• Conducting daily maintenance on packaging, transfer, and heating machinery.
• Balancing your workload between reacting to maintenance issues and proactively preventing them.
• Actively participating in reliability projects.
• Handling a variety of components, from bearings to pneumatics, contactors, and inverters.
• Expertly interpreting technical drawings.
• Investigating faults within electrical control panels.
Our client is particularly interested in candidates with LEAN and C.I ideas to enhance plant operations. You'll get a full induction that will familiarize you with the daily operations of the plant.
A successful Maintenance Engineer application:
You will need to hold an engineering qualification level 2+
