Due to their continued growth and expansion, the company require an experienced field-based Engineer on a full time and permanent basis, to be a key member of their expanding power solutions division, supporting both current and pioneering sustainable products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose faults, repair, and maintain diesel generators and related hire equipment.
- Keep up-to-date with administrative tasks, including accurate reporting of parts used and time spent.
- Assist in the operation of hire contracts and prepping machines for hire.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in a safe and tidy condition.
- Adhere to company and legal safety practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and employees.
- Provide technical advice as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Full valid driving license.
- Electrical Engineering qualifications 2391/18th Edition.
- Proven experience with diesel engines, gearboxes, hydraulics, electrics, and braking systems.
- Experienced in electrical works for fixed electrical installations and panel/control works.
- Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities.
