Maintenance Engineer - Generators

Due to their continued growth and expansion, the company require an experienced field-based Engineer on a full time and permanent basis, to be a key member of their expanding power solutions division, supporting both current and pioneering sustainable products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose faults, repair, and maintain diesel generators and related hire equipment.
• Keep up-to-date with administrative tasks, including accurate reporting of parts used and time spent.
• Assist in the operation of hire contracts and prepping machines for hire.
• Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in a safe and tidy condition.
• Adhere to company and legal safety practices.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and employees.
• Provide technical advice as required.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Full valid driving license.
• Electrical Engineering qualifications 2391/18th Edition.
• Proven experience with diesel engines, gearboxes, hydraulics, electrics, and braking systems.
• Experienced in electrical works for fixed electrical installations and panel/control works.
• Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities.
