Vacancy: Maintenance EngineerLocation: Porth, South WalesSalary: £28,000-£35,000 per annum DOEJHP Recruitment are seeking a methodical and time-served Maintenance Engineer to join their manufacturing client based in Porth, South Wales on a full-time, permanent basis.Main Accountabilities:* Health & Safety and Fire Safety* Total Planned Maintenance of machines and manufacturing equipment* Facilities maintenance around the factory and offices* Technician training when required* Carrying out work infrastructure and risk assessments for all machinery* Liaising with all factory staff on the installation, safe and efficient use, and cleaning and maintenance of all machinery and equipment* Ownership and carrying out planned and preventative maintenance as per Total Planned Maintenance schedule* Making recommendations on any potential replacement equipment required* Leading all machinery diagnostics for conveyor systems, facility checks, electrical installations, machine fitting, calibration, pneumatic and hydraulics. and plant refurbishments and installationsSkills & Requirements:* Level 3 City & Guilds Electrical Installation* Proven experience at management level* Excellent knowledge of machinery and engineering* Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsIf you think this could be the next step in your Maintenance Engineering career, please apply here or call Tasha at JHP Recruitment on (phone number removed)
