Overview:
We now require an additional Maintenance Engineer to join the electrical team. You will be working in modern purpose built manufacturing facilities for a company that have manufacturing plants across the globe and they produce a product that is always in demand - therefore creating job security.
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
- To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
- Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
- PPM's
The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Knowledge of safety circuits, Invertors, how relays operate, speed control systems
- A mechanical understanding would be advantageous - gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics
- Knowledge of PLC's - fault finding and modifying
- Electrically qualified - Must be able to present these at interview - minimum Level 3.
