Position:Maintenance Engineer - Electrical/Mechanical
Location: Poole, Dorset, United Kingdom
Shift: 2s and 3s (Days and Nights)

Responsibilities:

• Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) activities on production machinery to ensure optimal functioning and minimize downtime.


• Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to swiftly restore operations.


• Conduct thorough inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of production equipment.


• Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop strategies for improving machinery reliability and performance.


• Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a food manufacturing or similar environment.


• Strong proficiency in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to diagnose and repair faults effectively.


• Familiarity with carrying out PPM schedules and responding to breakdowns in a timely manner.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.


• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.


• Flexibility to work day and night shifts on a rotational basis.
