SalaryOur client is a an established and very successful manufacturing company and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Engineering Manager.
We are seeking an experienced multi-skilled engineer (mechanical & electrical) to manage a small engineering team and all production maintenance activities at our client's factory near Bilston.
The Role:
Reporting to the Directors and adopting a "hands-on" approach the Maintenance Engineering Manager will lead a small team of engineers and will ensure the effective delivery of planned and reactive maintenance of a wide range of production machinery.
You will be required to monitor performance and you will identify key improvement opportunities required to improve efficiency and increase profitability.
You will also lead Cap-ex engineering projects ensuring timely and cost effective delivery.
Candidate:
You will be an experienced maintenance / Engineering Manager or supervisor with excellent mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
Applicants with experience in machine build, assembly, installation, maintenance and repair are preferred and those with experience in the plastics manufacturing sector will have advantage.
Excellent mechanical and electrical engineering skills essential.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday Days (Flexible)
