The Company:
Interaction Technical have partnered with a growing, market leading Powder Coating firm based in Corby on their search for a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. Our client is a specialist powder coater for an array of industries including the Residential, Commercial, Rail, Retail and the Public industries and after a period of year on year growth, they are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer to run the site and ensure the plant is running as smoothly as possible. The Benefits
- Salary between GBP30,000-GBP35,000 dependent on experience
- Overtime paid at time , double time on Sundays

The Role
- Carry out Preventative Planned Maintenance and reactive breakdowns within stipulated timescales to minimise production downtime.
- Carry out general building and plant maintenance including minor repairs, fixtures, fittings and lighting
- Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns
- Respond to unplanned breakdowns in a timely and effective manner
- Carry out both mechanical and electrical fault finding to diagnose potential issues or problems.
- Carry out all work according to company procedures and Health & Safety Policies
The Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing environment (essential)
- Multi-skilled Electromechanical Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias (essential)
- Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic capabilities (essential)
- Previous experience working within a Heavy Industrial environment (advantageous)
- Relevant Electrical/Mechanical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - Advantageous
- Knowledge of PLC systems (advantageous)
- Full UK Driving License required
