Maintenance Fabrication Engineer – DN5 – c.£35k
Monday to Friday – days only
Maintenance Fabrication Engineer duties include:
70% light fabrication
Perform general maintenance works to avoid possible failures and breakdowns
Assist in developing preventive and corrective maintenance programs
Analyse repair requests and troubleshoot them
Perform installations, assembling, fittings, repairs, and replacements as needed
Handle emergency maintenances and repair works
Maintain the tools and equipment in safe, clean, and good working conditions
Provide assistance to co-workers when needed
Perform maintenance tasks based on pictures, blueprints, written descriptions, and oral instructions from Management
Must to able to carry out welding as well as basic plumbing and electrical duties
The successful Maintenance Fabrication Engineer will need to have:
Level 3 qualification preferred
Mig and Tig welding proficiency is essential
To be flexible which may entail working off site or delivering product for installation; full clean driving license required.
Some basic computer knowledge is required to enable the successful candidate to use email, internet etc.
The Maintenance Fabrication Engineer position is a temp to perm position and includes:
Pay rate: £35,000 p/a
Hours: Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week
Getting there: Free onsite parking. On a bus route. DN5
Additional: In the event of machine breakdowns, extended hours may be required
Holidays: 20 plus statutory bank holidays
