Maintenance & Facilities Manager

We are currently working with one of Northern Irelands largest manufacturing companies who are looking to add a Maintenance & Facilities Manager to their team in Portadown. Reporting to the Head of Operations, it will be the Maintenance and Facilities Manager’s job to oversee the full maintenance of equipment & Facilities onsite.

Shift: – Mon – Thurs 08.30 – 17.00 & Fri 08.00 - 16.00

The Role:

• Manage all equipment and facilities maintenance on site
• Manage a multi-skilled engineering team
• Ensure the entire site operates to highest levels of compliance
• Manage implementation of Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects on site
• Support root cause projects to eliminate waste and improve site efficiencies through increase machine uptime and throughput.

Personal Specification

• Time served in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an engineering management role.
• People leadership experience
• Demonstrable experience of negotiating contracts
• Proven experience of managing budgets
• Experience of delivering large CAPEX projects (in excess of £500k)
