Our client is a well known business and been a respected employer in the local Edinburgh area over many years. Due to some internal movement, they are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join their busy team to spend days working on reactive and proactive maintenance, working on ways to improve machinery and minimising downtime through breakdowns. This is a team focussed role so working well with others will be key, the ability to build relationship with other departments is an important aspect but also having the ability to work on own initiative would be great too.
As you are responsible for the whole plant, your tasks and assets you look after vary hugely in a regulated environment so understanding compliance in your area is important and how your work impacts others.
The dayshift opportunity covering Monday - Friday. The pay and benefits are good and the teams are well established and friendly. The shift positions are working on 12 hour shifts and offer a great shift premium. Both roles pay overtime too and along with this, their benefits package is excellent and includes a 12% pension contibution.
