You will attend property inspection requests within timescales set, liaising with Customers, other housing staff and property professionals to diagnose defects and building pathology and report defects that warrant action in accordance with the Council’s Maintenance and Repair Policy.
You will inspect empty homes and provide written reports on outcome standards, including HSSRS detailing schedules of necessary works to bring the property up to the required lettable standard.
You will undertake regular cyclical maintenance inspections of Council housing blocks, estates and communal shared facilities, providing inspection records and reporting any safety defects or maintenance work identified.
