As a Maintenance Leader, you will be responsible for maintenance arrangements for asset upkeep to meet legislative and operating needs within the target department. You will also be a technical authority and Maintenance Leader for the owned asset base and control maintenance of owned assets in a safe, reliable, and available status.
During your first few weeks in this Maintenance Engineering role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:
- Control maintenance of owned assets in a safe, reliable, and available status
- Plan and oversee planned maintenance planning, preparation, execution and hand-back to production operations
- Cost control of annual maintenance spend
- Propose Capital Projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with production and planning groups to minimize disruption and maximise asset capacity
The successful Maintenance Leader applicant will have 18th Edition electrical qualification. Additional requirements include:
- DSEAR/ATEX awareness
- Familiarity with multiple engineering disciplines
- Full computer literacy and experience with CMMS systems
- Good understanding of UK legislation akin to a manufacturing facility
