Maintenance Manager

Circa £50,000 plus cash allowance

We have an exciting opportunity for a people focussed leader to join our Maintenance team as Maintenance Manager. In this role you will be responsible to leading an operational team of highly skilled technicians based in Cambridge and the surrounding areas, empowering them to provide a first-class service maximising the availability of plant and equipment.

Our Water Recycling operation is at the heart of our organisation. The key services that we are responsible for are delivered by our in-house, highly skilled workforce. We collect and treat the water that customers have used, returning clean water back to the environment via rivers and coastal outlets. Our network includes over 7,000 pumping stations and 76,000 kilometres of sewers which feed over 1,000 water recycling centres.

What does it take to be a Maintenance Manager?

- Demonstrable experience of successfully leading and motivating a field-based team

- Knowledge and previous experience of driving a strong health and safety culture, ideally qualified in IOSH or equivalent.

- Strong communication skills with ability to adapt style to internal and external stakeholders.

- Strong team player with effective collaboration skills

- Previous operational experience within a similar environment would be desirable but not essential

- Business or leadership qualification or equivalent of experience and knowledge
